The Sr. Director of AP will develop and ensure execution of the organizations overall security strategy, implement programs to protect employees and property, oversee investigations, protect sensitive information, maintain high team morale and oversee physical security systems and related technologies. The Sr. Director will align with business leaders on crisis management related concerns and manage the special events program.



  • Exemplifies Leadership and inspires others to lead in a dynamic environment.
  • Meets regularly with AP and business leadership to identify issues/concerns and creates strategies and AP solutions for facilities in North America.
  • Develops and cultivates partnerships (internal and external).
  • Leads, trains, motivates, and inspires the NA AP Leadership team.
  • Responsible for the overall management, budget, and performance of contract security personnel and adherence to the current contract.
  • Develops and executes visitor control strategies and programs.
  • Leads, drives, coordinates, and monitors the progress and completion of projects assigned to the Team. • Develops and implements strategies and solutions to protect employees, minimize losses, mitigate risks, and create AP awareness across all facilities in NA.
  • Ensures completion of Annual Risk Assessment and related mitigation strategies.
  • Ensures the NA Supply Chain Asset Protection Policy & Procedures and Global Standards are enforced, current, and relevant.
  • Collaborates with Facility Leadership to identify opportunities to minimize losses and/or reduce risk.
  • Identifies best practices and ensures consistency across all facilities in NA.
  • Identifies security/safety gaps and mitigates accordingly.
  • Identifies opportunities and creates new Policies and Procedures in conjunction with Legal and other relevant business units.
  • Performs industry benchmarking to maintain an effective duty of care and standard of care.
  • Responsible for the development and adherence to the budget & spend plan (CapEx & OpEx).
  • Develops and ensures proper execution of Crisis Management and Incident Response Plans.
  • Oversees the LiveSafe program (enrollment, marketing, broadcasts, and content). 



  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • 12 years’ experience in an Asset Protection Leadership Role
  • 5+ years management experience
  • Experience with Developing and Implementing Physical Security Strategies and Mitigating Risks
  • Internal investigation experience with closure
  • Significant Experience with Supply Chain Security and Physical Security Strategies
  • Significant familiarity with Security-related Technologies
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent written and verbal 



  • Completion of interviewing courses such as Wicklander/Zulawski
  • Professional certification from ASIS, Loss Prevention Foundation, and/or ACFE
  • Other Professional Certifications related to supply chain, investigations, and/or physical security.
  • Excellent knowledge of Physical Security Equipment and Technology (Access Control, Alarms, RFID, Covert Camera application).
  • Excellent knowledge of Investigative techniques, Criminal and Liability Laws.
  • Excellent knowledge of data analytics tools and generally accepted accounting principles.
