GENERAL FUNCTION

The Human Resources Analytics Senior Manager will develop and implement comprehensive tools and strategies that allow raw data to be transformed into business insights. He or she will partner closely with business and HR Leaders, the IT and HR Technology teams, and other functions to build the systems infrastructure required to collect and analyze HR data, offer actionable analysis and reporting to managers and executives, and will interface with HR and other business functions to enable them to meet their business objectives through data and analytics.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the HR analytics team
  • Develop strategies for effective data analysis and reporting
  • Maintain operational excellence on the team to ensure high-quality methods to gather and manage large datasets from multiple sources, transforming, cleansing, validating, or testing the data as necessary.
  • Build relationships to collaborate with multiple teams, including HR COE leads, HR Business Partners, and individuals throughout various functions, including Finance, IT, Operations, to understand business requirements and drive innovation to deliver solutions.
  • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and data visualization across primary stakeholder groups (C-suite, business leaders, HR leaders, HRBPs, etc.) Extract, normalize, and enrich data from multiple HR systems to create easy to use reporting sources for downstream “customers”
  • Actively pursue the ongoing improvement of self-service reporting and analytics tools and capabilities.
  • Innovate and explore expanding the team's capabilities by automating and streamlining work, to enable more time for business consultation.
  • Be a source of knowledge and coach team and HR stakeholders on reporting tools and offerings including keeping them informed with industry trends, services and technologies
  • Main point of contact for the People Analytics when it comes to work projects, due dates, and potential partnerships.
  • Conduct requirements gathering for project details, scope, resources, timeline, and deliverables.
  • Participate in RFPs for any new People Analytics tools / technology.
  • Partner closely with cross-function teams to identify, design, and deliver reports and analytics for insight into people-related business problems, identifying trends, and making predictions
  • Contribute to cross-functional analytics projects from beginning to end; collect and analyze data, summarize and present key insights in support of decision making
  • Partner closely with HR technology leader to define data architecture within HR systems to enable consistent and effective reporting services 

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 
  • 8+ years of experience in human resources, project management or related skills
  • 5+ years of experience in Managerial role
  • Strong analytical and strategic skills
  • Presentation skills
  • Strong project management and process improvement skills
  • Hands on

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience supporting HR
  • Experience with the following applications and/or software:
    • Power BI Pro
    • Tableau
    • On-Premises Data Gateway
    • Alteryx
    • SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio)
    • Azure Data Studio
    • Power Automate (Could and Desktop)
    • FileZilla (File transfers in and of Kronos)
