As Senior Manager of Internal Communications for EssilorLuxottica North America, you will play an integral role in giving our people more visibility to our rich Company culture and sharing the vison and priorities of our business leaders. Reporting directly into the Director, Internal Communications, you will be tasked with developing and managing effective communication and employee engagement strategies and initiatives for the business with a focus on the Wholesale function across North America.


This role requires an effective communicator and a strong collaborator. The right candidate embodies the ability to actively engage with and have a finger on the pulse of the business, turning their findings into content that can be used across a wide variety of channels, from intranet postings and newsletters to town halls and executive presentations. They must be able to tell the story of our business in a creative and compelling way in an effort to further build and strengthen EssilorLuxottica’s employee culture. 



  • Work with Director, Internal Communications to develop and oversee end-to-end execution of internal communications strategies focused on driving employee engagement and understanding the business and its priorities. This includes but is not limited to key messaging, presentations, organizational announcements, events, newsletter, and executive communications.
  • Own IC projects from start to finish, with special care on highly visible and sensitive ones for the business.
  • Build and maintain relationships with a diverse set of internal stakeholders to increase visibility and improve the quality of communications throughout the organization with a rigor on communicating the right information to the right audience at the right time.
  • Advance the visibility and the impact of executives internally and ensure seamless, timely messaging to all stakeholders.
  • Drive new approaches to deliver efficient, effective communications; finds effective ways to benchmark best practices, challenge processes and recommend new approaches.
  • Plan and execute events that inform and entertain employees and cultivate engagement.
  • Liaise with global IC team to ensure we’re cascading corporate messaging and campaigns.
  • Manage IC budget and vendor relationships.
  • Regularly measure effectiveness of the team’s communication channels to ensure we’re maximizing our resources.
  • Partner with the retail and operations IC team members to ensure continuity and potential opportunity across businesses.



  • Bachelor’s degree required in Communications or related discipline
  • 8-10 years of Internal Communications experience
  • Superior writing and editing skills, knowledge of Content Management Systems, Adobe Suite and ability to write in a variety of styles/voices
  • Presentation creation and graphic design/media experience
  • Exceptional project management skills with proven ability to plan, develop and deliver content
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and work well under pressure
  • Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment where change is a constant
  • Proven track record of establishing strong working relationships and rapport with executives, business partners and colleagues
  • Strong work ethic and trustworthiness
