General Function

The Community Marketing Coordinator (Events) primary responsibility will be to work with Marketing Stakeholders to support various initiatives including but not limited to planning for and attending community events, activations and tradeshows.  The Community Marketing Coordinator will also oversee and interact with the general Community Marketing team and help with general day-to-day marketing activities.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with the Community Managers and the rest of the community team to successfully plan for and execute events; including vendor set-up and payment, ordering, shipping, and activation
  • Organizing and maintaining our internal event tracker for accurate information for planning and reporting purposes
  • Facilitates AFA orders for event and community partners, always keeping them current on Spring/Fall Apparel
  • Effectively communicate with brand partners, event organizers and Costa Community stakeholders
  • Assists with presentation development, research and forecasting
  • Helps to manage and keep track of our Costa vehicle fleet, and Costa team drivers
  • Helps to manage our Costa Community warehouse and marketing inventory

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree; preferred in Business or Marketing
  • 1+ years of experience in marketing or events.
  • Expected to travel 35-50% of the time.
  • Must be highly responsible, a self-starter and accountable for managing their time and responsibilities while spending time both in the office and on the road.
  • High level of organization and coordination capabilities including managing orders, calendars, and event logistics
  • Must have a valid US driver’s license
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of and passion for fishing and conservation 
  • Prior industry relationships and experience
  • Experience managing media and/or influencer marketing platforms
  • Deep understanding of Community relationships and brand authenticity
