The Social Media Specialist’s primary responsibility is to work with the Costa sport social team to post, monitor and report on our social media channels, as well as assist in the curation and creation of content. The primary focus is to post Costa brand content through our social media platforms with the goal of engaging with and attracting consumers to the brand, communicating with consumers and reporting on metrics and campaign results.



  • Schedule and publish content across social media platforms including Facebook, lnstagram, Twitter, YouTube and Pinterest.
  • Actively engage with community, Costa partners and Costa pros/ambassadors, to maintain Costa’s active presence across social media.
  • Triage service inquiries and issues to Customer Service in Sprinklr as needed.
  • Manage daily editorial calendar, working with social and marketing team to ensure consistency with social macro calendar and overall marketing calendars.
  • Assist in content curation across a variety of sources, including user-generated, Costa partners and Costa pros/ambassadors.
  • Assist in management of content creation process, facilitating existing projects and providing creative suggestions for new projects.
  • Maintain content libraries and exhibit file management best practices.
  • Manage user generated content tagging within Bazaarvoice for Costa’s website.
  • Track key reporting metrics and provide weekly/monthly/annual reports and campaign recaps to team leadership.
  • Assist in planning organic and paid social media support campaigns for new product introductions and brand initiatives to ensure successful launches.
  • Maintain ongoing social and digital media technology research to stay current with platform evolutions and impacts for Costa.
  • Attend Costa shoots and key events to capture content as needed.
  • Assist digital team in conducting asset searches and other activities to support Costa’s digital marketing and e-commerce efforts.



  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1+ year(s) experience with commercial, branded social media campaign work.
  • Direct operational experience in Facebook, lnstagram, Twitter, YouTube and Pinterest platform consoles required.
  • Strong understanding of social media landscape (platform demographics, trends and emerging opportunities) and how to translate that into increasing social engagement and improving results.
  • Possess strong writing skills and a passion for storytelling through written and visual content.
  • Passion for consumer engagement within social channels to drive results and meet goals.
  • Adoption and adherence to Costa brand procedures for consumer communications.
  • Intrinsically motivated: self-directed and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple projects and adhering to tight and demanding deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to contribute in a collaborative team environment.
  • Intuitive grasp of customer and a drive to impact and satisfy customers.



  • Knowledge of and passion for fishing and conservation strongly preferred.
  • Direct experience using social media management tools (e.g. Sprinklr, Iconosquare, etc.) preferred.
