The EHS Analyst is a hands-on role responsible for supporting the execution and maintenance of the EHS compliance, worker’s compensation and environmental policies and programs across the Oakley campus (manufacturing, R&D, warehouse & office).  This includes reporting/metrics and implementation of projects to drive EHS performance improvement with cross-functional departments, vendors, contractors and/or consultants.



  • Supports execution, maintenance of the programs/training to ensure compliance with local, State & Federal environmental, health and safety regulations for various programs including, but not limited to, OSHA, RCRA, SCAQMD, OCSD, DTSC, Clean Water Act, SPCC and Stormwater
  • Manages worker’s comp reporting to the third party administrator, follow up with injured employee/supervisor, identify return to work/mod duty opportunities and partnering with occupational clinic, corporate WC Claim Team, HR and Legal to facilitate long-term employment solutions
  • Partners with department management on Incident investigations to identify root cause and prevent recurrence
  • Participates in cross-functional teams to conduct risk assessments & manage change reviews to proactively identify potential risks
  • Develops action plans to address ergonomics, risk, safety/environmental impacts
  • Interfaces with internal business partners on various EHS initiatives including but not limited to new product, equipment, chemical and process introductions; works to resolve issues of potential non-compliance and potential injury impact
  • Responsible for completing regulatory reports, incident investigations, tracking waste manifests, SDS and VOC reporting, air quality monitoring and other environmental and safety-related tasks
  • Experiences implementing and maintaining ISO 14001, ISO45001 or other EHS management Systems
  • Develops and maintains EHS performance metrics, trend analysis, OSHA reporting to internal, leadership, parent company and other key stakeholders
  • Hands-on interaction with manufacturing depts and facilities to conduct inspections, risk assessments and other related EHS prevention activities
  • Supports implementation of an EHS culture strategy and adapts as necessary to meet the businesses changing needs
  • Conducts safety and environmental trainings as needed
  • Other duties assigned



  • AA/AS degree in safety, environmental sciences, engineering or related field
  • Bilingual fluency (English/Spanish) a must
  • 2+ years’ experience supporting & maintaining EHS programs, including worker’s comp or claims management
  • Possesses thorough understanding of local, State & Federal EHS requirements
  • Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills; able to handle changing priorities
  • Experience in a fast-paced, changing/growing organization
  • Proficiency in MS Office & other web-based apps and analysis tools
  • Strong organizational, communication skills
  • Able to walk, stand, climb stairs frequently & work flexible hours to cover shifts as needed



  • ASP, CSP, CHMM or other EHS certifications
  • BA/BS degree in safety, environmental sciences, engineering or related technical field
