The Director of Industrial Planning will provide leadership and accountability for overall planning, procurement, and logistic activities supporting the Oakley manufacturing plant.  The Oakley plant produces 9M units per year resulting in $1B of revenue.  



  • Responsible for the overall strategy for planning, procurement and logistic activities across the manufacturing plant
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and in partnership with other departments to achieve departmental KPIs that include, but not limited to:
    • Service/backorder
    • Inventory / MFG lead time and punctuality 
    • Warehouse safety, quality, service and cost
  • Lead and strengthen the supply chain team to ensure adequate inventory levels and service to customer
  • Develop and ensure that the supply chain strategy, practices, and initiatives are aligned with the company’s business objectives and support the company’s growth strategy
  • Build a supply chain organizational culture that has a high sense of urgency, commitment to value-added services, and a sense of accountability
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and in partnership with Human Resources conduct/implement strategies to include, but not limited to, staff augmentation, training, performance evaluations, while ensuring compliance with federal, state and local regulations
  • Implement and monitor performance measurement and reporting to ensure continued compliance of suppliers
  • Work closely with production facilities to align production scheduling/purchasing with actual channel consumption
  • Identify opportunities, develop action plans, and coach team on continuous improvement projects
  • Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned and required



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 5+ years of management/leadership experience
  • Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification required
  • Experience leading teams in a fast paced MFG environment, in a manner that drives teamwork, collaboration and a high degree of integrity
  • Superior problem solving and analytical skills (both quantitative and qualitative)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills (written and verbal)
  • Demonstrated passion for solving problems and operational excellence
  • Focused, organized, results-oriented individual
  • Successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual, able to achieve high impact in an unstructured environment



  • Master’s Degree preferred
  • Bilingual – English/Spanish/Italian
