GENERAL FUNCTION

As a Manager of Product Learning, you’ll use your experience building training and development programs to lead initiatives that train and engage sellers and users of Oakley products to optimize engagement and comprehension.  The product growth you drive will come from developing strategies and content that supports product engagement and comprehension.

You’ll need to understand the competitive landscape to communicate the value positioning of Oakley products. As a marketing manager, you are uniquely positioned to understand the capabilities of products along with how customers use them. In connecting the two, you will ensure that learning content is effectively communicated, and feedback and insights are used to drive future training strategy.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Activate the strategy, understand content gaps, and scale multiple, concurrent learning programs that align to the capability of a globally diverse organization.
  • Establish relationships with key stakeholders across Oakley and Luxottica to lead the project management lifecycle of learning programs designed to help learners understand the fundamentals and advanced knowledge of the product.
  • Key point of contact in marketing team to work with subject matter experts to develop, design, refine, and enhance content.
  • Use your learning program expertise to develop the strategy, objectives, and goals for each individual content.
  • Have a sense of personal accountability for the quality and completeness of learning programs and resulting user experience. Maintain a sense of pride and craftsmanship that yields output with aesthetic as well as business value.
  • Review and analyze feedback from learning evaluations and business stakeholders.
  • Help others succeed and build on the work of others to strengthen our empowerment, empathic, diverse, and inclusive culture.
  • Ability to actively engage learners through new and developing techniques.
  • Set learning calendar in collaboration with Product Marketing Managers.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience building, launching, and scaling learning and development programs for partners or customers
  • Deep understanding of consumer metrics, market segmentation and analytics – a data-driven strategist who understands and analyze how to tap into personal factors that will motivate and engage the user over time
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Ability to deal with change with a passion for innovation and creative problem solving

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working in consumer products
  • Experience in product marketing, marketing strategy, and/or community management
