Oakley’s Project Manager is responsible for organizing our New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and controlling project schedules for small to large-scale initiatives with the scope of driving operational effectiveness and efficiency within the Product Strategy team and cross functionally. This PM will monitor and develop project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures, organize and participate in stakeholder meetings, and ensure that project deadlines are met in a timely manner. 



  • Manages and leads cross-functional projects with the scope of driving operational excellence.
  • Applies knowledge and experience to identify project risks, develop and evaluate alternative solutions to drive positive project outcomes.
  • Proactively coordinates project phases to ensure priorities are balanced and manageable.
  • Actively problem solves with the project team to identify and resolve issues
  • Aligns project deliverables with leadership goals by determining project priorities, ensuring adherence to project success criteria, and communicating project status, progress and results
  • Delivers schedule of activities outlining project life cycle and responsibilities to meet the plan expectations
  • Establishes and contributes with the implementation of processes and tools to drive efficiency across the organization.
  • Analyze and manage project risk to identify and evaluate throughout the project lifecycle
  • Work collaboratively in a cross functional, dynamic, ambiguous environment with multiple competing priorities which requires self-motivation, discipline, organization, and a high attention to detail
  • Develops and prepares status reports by gathering, analyzing and summarizing relevant information
  • Establishes effective project communication plans and ensures their execution
  • Ensures that all parties are informed of project changes that impacts schedule and budget
  • Coordinates the development of user manuals, training materials and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the clients
  • Ensures main stakeholders’ feedback on all initiatives is captured and incorporated for process improvement.
  • Obtains customer acceptance of project deliverables
  • Establishes and contribute with the implementation of processes and tools to drive efficiency across the organization


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Business, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills – project management, time management and prioritizing
  • 8+ years’ experience in project management
  • Able to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion
  • Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies
  • Experience as a construction project manager, IT project manager or ERP project manager
  • Able to complete projects in a timely manner
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with positive attitude and enthusiasm
  • Experience overseeing a construction and/or product development project
  • Budget management experience



  • Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Budget management experience
