GENERAL FUNCTION

Oakley’s Foothill Ranch, CA location offers employees an opportunity to be part of full conception-to-creation under one roof. The Senior Talent Acquisition (TA) Partner holds a critical role in developing and implementing agile recruiting strategies that directly connect the success of the Brand to the right talent placed at the right time. The Sr. Manager partners closely with Hiring Managers and HR to attract the right talent.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides full-desk recruitment support, including sourcing, candidate management, arranging interviews, gathering interview/candidate feedback, main driver to successfully close roles
  • Responsible for performance of direct hire recruitment, as well as oversight of external temp agency performance and strategic partnership to the HR team
  • Develop creative recruiting strategies and partner with HR team of implementation of company wide recruitment process for maximum impact
  • Partner with HR team to support onboarding processes, such as background checks etc.
  • Serves as subject matter expert, partnering with HR business partners and hiring managers to deeply understand their hiring needs
  • Proactively identifies barriers and opportunities to secure great talent, responding quickly to evolving business needs and external market fluctuations
  • Proactively facilitates discussion on market trends, changes and talent acquisition strategies
  • Maintains strong partnerships with functional leaders to provide excellent support related to talent strategies
  • Leads talent pipelining initiatives, including university relationships, intern program, military partnerships, and more
  • Develop and maintain all recruitment metrics and use as a measure of quality of hire and effectiveness of effective recruitment strategies
  • Leverages the internal applicant tracking system (ATS) to consistently manage and document candidate flow
  • Leads special projects as assigned including relationships with executive search firms, confidential assignments, process improvement efforts, training initiatives, etc.
  • Maintains current knowledge of industry best practices, and recommends improvements
  • May directly or indirectly manage team members

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, business administration or related field
  • 8+ years of HR and/or recruitment experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Talent Acquisition strategies and best practices, including full cycle recruitment, sourcing, evaluation, offer negotiation, and candidate management
  • Intimate knowledge of LinkedIn, Indeed, other job boards and social recruiting tools
  • Knowledge of Boolean search methods and job attraction techniques
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills in a quick moving landscape.
  • Strong recruiter instincts and ability to strategically identify and engage top talent
  • Ability to take initiative, prioritizes, influence, negotiate and partner effectively with individuals and all levels of the organization in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with change management and the ability to be flexible in work style and responsibility
  • Strong computer skills (PowerPoint, MS word, excel, applicant tracking systems)
  • Strong presentation skills

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ yrs. managerial experience
  • PHR, SHRM-CP or similar certification
