The Sr. Manager- Continuous Improvement will coach/mentor employees of different culture and functions to raise the site’s lean capacity. It will also inspire the global manufacturing team, to improve performance in safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and Efficiency cost meeting financial goals. They will define a 3-year plan to enhance the lean culture across Oakley operation base on skills, Leadership, Operational Excellence, and Sustainability.



  • Train/coach/mentor personnel in Lean and CI tools such as 5S, Lean standard work, Kanban, value stream mapping, visual management, flow production, SMED, variation reduction/DMAIC, design for manufacturing/DFSS
  • Responsible to deploy a VSM and keep it up to date every year for budget purposes
  • Responsible to lead Chronic Quality issues projects in Manufacturing
  • Select, mentor, and certify Kaizen leaders to become Lean tool experts (YB, GB, BB)
  • Maintain Kaizen sustainment trackers and execute training
  • Develop CI project plans with operation executives; identify needed resources, alignment, milestones, deliverables, project prioritization and tracking.
  • Lead the definition and delivery of large business improvement projects through the application of Lean Six Sigma and project management tools.
  • Manage projects across all the Lean Pillars at Oakley impacting manufacturing, supply Chain, engineering, quality, HR, H&S, and industrialization.
  • Collaborate closely with Cost accounting to certify a financial alignment on the project and a clear definition of expectation in terms of results.
  • Actively identify potential risks & issues relating to the delivery of projects and manage a resolution process in a timely manner, only escalating major issues.
  • Influence and continue to move forward the culture of Lean/continuous improvement to all levels from senior management to shop floor employees.
  • Drive the execution of the Kaizen events and Lean Six Sigma Projects
  • Create and facilitate Daily Management processes in designated areas (GEMBA)
  • Maintain effective working relationship and communication with all cross functional departments
  • Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned and required



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in a Continuous Improvement role supporting Operations manufacturing environment
  • Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification
  • PowerBi Experience
  • Mastering Lean Principals, Six Sigma tools, Strategic Planning, and statistical process control techniques
  • Track-record as a successful “Change Agent” with proven results in front line roles such a s supply chain manager, manufacturing manager, quality manger, operation manager, or engineering manager.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with track-record of delivering results that directly impacted the bottom-line
  • Familiar with Policy Deployment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills (written and verbal)
  • Successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual, able to achieve high impact in an unstructured Environment



  • Master’s Degree preferred
  • Bilingual
