GENERAL FUNCTION

This role is responsible for leading the global Costa marketing efforts from strategic conceptualization, development, prioritization, and execution of marketing strategies supporting the overall Costa brand wholesale channel. They will ensure alignment with Marketing (Global Brand & Sports Marketing), Wholesale and Retail, creating a consistent brand experience in every channel of the business.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop brand equity strategy and program to elevate the brand to a new level and engages consumer hearts and minds.
  • Work closely with the global marketing team on marketing initiative, plans and content and ensures alignment across channel
  • Communicate clear marketing plan and strategies that support all business verticals and revenue targets with Costa and Luxottica team members and executives; ensuring key stakeholders have accurate timely information
  • Create efficient systems to communicate key product and brand messages with the right frequency to the global market
  • Champion new ideas and initiatives that are consistent with the brand’s identity
  • Develop and implement storytelling initiatives that increase traffic, conversion rate, average transaction value and sales across the multiple channels of business.
  • Influence communication and strategy between Ecommerce, retail and wholesale to build effective consumer communication campaigns increasing conversion, customer acquisition, and retention.
  • Work with the product management team to provide marketing assets & materials to meet their commercial objectives
  • Deliver marketing programs and initiatives which drive traffic to our accounts, increase overall engagement and brand affinity
  • Understand the nuanced elements of the Costa brand, product and service offerings to ensure they are effectively and accurately reflected in all marketing campaigns, initiatives and programs
  • Manage and lead Wholesale marketing teams
  • Consistently conduct analysis of the competitive market and consumer trends
  • Accountable in managing the overall marketing budget and responsible for all marketing investments

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Merchandising or related field
  • 15+ years of marketing experience
  • 10+ years of practical experience in Marketing Management from commercial, retail or e-commerce environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail oriented, flexible, and adaptive to changing priorities
  • Ability to work and influence cross-functionally
  • Working knowledge of various marketing techniques and processes
