GENERAL FUNCTION

Responsible for analyzing and monitoring performance of Luxottica’s doctor business across all North America brands. Actively collaborate and partner with Eye Care Analytics team and brand partners to identify opportunities and create strategic solutions to help leaders meet their goals, as well as monitor and track performance of key strategic initiatives.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics support that support key business decisions.
  • Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions, key operations and performance metrics.
  • Examine, interpret and report results of analytical initiatives to stakeholders in leadership, technology, sales, marketing and product teams.
  • Utilize technical knowledge and expertise in Business Objects, Tableau and Excel to streamline all reporting and analytical efforts.
  • Use analytical skills, business acumen and judgment to solve business problems effectively
  • Identify and transform key emerging trends into actionble insights for brand leadership
  • Challenge business leaders while building relationships and gaining and maintaining respect
  • Communicate complicated matters in a simple, structured way to senior management
  • Complete work through cooperation with other groups and teams with no direct reporting relationship to position

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or any other analytical field
  • 3-5 years of experience in Finance or Analytics
  • Experience using analytic techniques to contribute to company growth efforts, increasing revenue and other key business outcomes
  • Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques such as hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations for business units
  • Experience working with and creating databases and dashboards using all relevant data to inform decisions
  • Effective communicator with excellent written, verbal, listening and presentation skills
  • Problem solver, ability to understand root causes and propose solutions for business issues/ needs
  • Proven strategic mindset applying critical thinking to complex data
  • High business acumen
  • Self-starter comfortable in an ambiguous, project-oriented environment
  • Initiative, drive, service orientation mindset, collaborator, partner and team player

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Business Analytics experience in a retail or healthcare environment
  • Tableau
  • SAP Business Objects
