GENERAL FUNCTION

This position works with key stakeholders on a broad spectrum of business initiatives to achieve internal communication goals, objectives and strategies to create effective communications for Field/Stores. Develop accurate and timely communications within stringent timelines in a fast paced environment while ensuring high quality. Develop strong knowledge level of all brand initiatives. Serve as a go-to resource for the Field to answer questions/concerns and support key business initiatives, while filtering information from corporate and communicating it to the Field for execution. Provides communication support for stores and field team.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with key constituents to gain full understanding of communication requests; identify gaps/opportunities to ensure the development of comprehensive communications
  • Proactively manage development and implementation of communications, including copy/content development, production management and distribution resulting in consistency and successful execution at Field/Store level
  • Manage, develop and coordinate multiple communications projects simultaneously and delivers high quality work on time
  • Write, edit and distribute various types of content, including material for our internal website, reference materials / documents, policy and procedures
  • Keep abreast of assigned brand initiatives; provide supporting communications that are accurate, timely and achieve brand objectives
  • Manage special projects ranging from brand merchandising/store visual initiatives, Operations, HR, Marketing, new business development and product launches/expansions.
  • Proactively develop communication plans with cross function team members that algins with operational calendar
  • Manage distribution of visual marketing materials to ensure all stores receive marketing tools
  • Provide weekly updates for Communications/Store Execution Project List; ensure all communication needs are tracked and timing aligns with objectives and priorities of Field/Stores
  • Coordinate and monitor the content calendar and timelines for the brand
  • Develop expertise in functionality of the communications platform; adhere to standards to deliver consistent and brand right communications
  • Serve as gatekeeper for content posted on the internal communications platform
  • Provide response within 24 hour time frame to Field/Store questions/concerns
  • Awareness of store operations with a strong attention to detail and accuracy

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, PR / Marketing Corporate Communications or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years overall experience
  • Experience with creative writing
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
  • High attention to detail
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem solving skills with ability to identify root cause issue
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Possess outstanding project-management and strong follow-up skills
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, Power Point and Adobe
  • Experience with graphic design preferred Willing to work extended hours when necessary
  • Knowledge of store operations processes and procedures is preferred. Ability to work across departments and create comunications for multiple audiences
