GENERAL FUNCTION

The Data Analyst will be responsible for supporting the daily activities of the ID card, while helping the other areas of the Membership team as time allows.  The Analyst will ensure compliance to established SLA’s for ID Cards will supporting id card setup, testing and helping with monthly close items and yearly planned inventory needs. The Analyst will work in conjunction with the ID card Sr Analyst, other key members of the membership team as well as cross functional partners.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Executes the daily ID card production process, ensuring completion within established ID card SLA’s and address production issues in a timely manner with appropriate parties.
  • Prepares ID card materials with accuracy and timeliness, properly setting expectations with internal partners regarding timelines and deliverables.
  • Ensure adherence with standards of administration during handling of internal/external ID card requests.
  • Responsible for responding to requests of internal clients with a sense of urgency. Includes communications supporting the daily card file process, requests for custom benefits, requests impacting the card issues log, and requests for ID card reprints/reflags.
  • Supports ID card questions from Service/Implementation teams and cross-functional personnel to address ID card questions and escalates to ID Card management team as necessary.
  • Analyze and research questions and requests to determine process/system improvements are needed.
  • Support Sr Analyst with monthly invoice completion and budget spreadsheet, inventory management and all id card reporting.
  • Identify and create reporting queries in order to support id card inquires and research through EDW.
  • Write and execute all testing scenarios for CGG website as well as System testing.
  • Share system and process knowledge with ID card team and cross-functional employees
  • Provide system, process and reporting guidance to support all Hard Copy functions.
  • Support EDI processes and systems. Possess a strong understanding of all membership areas.
  • Support membership special projects including data cleanup, group specific audits and new functionality through documentation and execution of user acceptance testing and review with management.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business and/or Information Systems or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of related work experience
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of vision benefits and/or insurance industry. Understands third party administration and ability to analyze and interpret plan benefit design
  • Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently manage area of responsibility including prioritization of daily work load, assigned tasks and projects. Properly sets expectations with internal clients and follows-through on execution to completion.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Membership and ID card systems/processes and standards of administration.
  • Ability to work effectively in Adobe InDesign, MS Outlook, CGG Website, Qlikview and EDW
  • Ability to perform data queries/analysis.
