The Director of Provider Communications & Public Relations powers our narratives among the eye care provider community, launches industry-leading provider materials and deepens our engagement within industry publications and social media. This passionate and high energy individual will work closely with the EyeMed executive team and other leaders within EssilorLuxottica to drive awareness, preference, and position in the market among eye care providers.



  • Leads provider-facing communications, marketing, public relations and social media. This includes program development, setting and managing project schedules, objectives and key performance indicators.
  • Builds the overall EyeMed brand image and strategic narratives among providers and within key industry publications
  • Leads and provides direction to the provider communications and PR team, including development of strategy, performance analysis, support professional development, provide oversight and direction for key objectives and projects, and assure the overall success of the team
  • Partners with PR and communications counterparts across the organization to bring cohesive strategies to life and elevate company-wide initiatives
  • Develops a range of provider communication strategies that may include messaging, email communications, direct mail, key talking points and more in partnership with key stakeholders
  • Designs and implements content strategies that cultivate relationships with media, engages target audiences, and boosts our brand awareness.
  • Works closely with the executive team, cross-functional partners, and the marketing team to develop our provider narratives and supporting content strategy and asset development.
  • Develops robust, integrated social media strategies for both provider and consumer audiences with a focus on Facebook, Instagram and key industry-specific channels.
  • Determines how to proactively and reactively respond to and address social posts and engagements from providers, members and consumers.
  • Works with team to develop core documents to aid a provider in working with EyeMed, including how-to sheets, tips and tricks, FAQ documents and more
  • Leads projects, key initiatives and creates engagement and enthusiasm among key internal stakeholders, including leadership, operations, strategy, product, and legal, as well as external partners with full-service PR, digital, marketing and/or creative agencies
  • Tracks engagement across various platforms and makes data-driven decisions.
  • Manages presence at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Ensures quality control and compliance of all information released.



  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications or marketing
  • 10+ years of public relations, corporate communications and social media experience
  • 5+ years of experience developing and leading a team
  • Deep knowledge of public relations strategies and demonstrated experience working with C-Suite executives and industry thought leaders
  • A strong relationship-builder with the ability to work well with a network of peers and partners
  • Superior writing skills with the ability to articulate messages that resonate with key audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, identify/address problems, and meet deadlines



  • Master’s degree in business, marketing, or related field of study
  • Benefits, insurance or healthcare industry experience
