The Analyst - IT Security is responsible for monitoring security solutions in support of global Luxottica business systems (retail, manufacturing, insurance, etc.).  The incumbent will implement solutions to ensure security support delivery in line with information security best practices and regulatory compliance requirements.  The Analyst – IT Security will support security incident response, troubleshooting and investigations as required.



  • Solve Security Operations Center tickets and other IT Security Alerts
  • Manage file integrity monitoring, firewall change process, vulnerability scanning
  • Administer network IDS/IPS, email security, and endpoint controls such as ATP/EDR, proxy client, disk encryption, security policies, data-loss prevention
  • Coordinate with support teams on firewalls, mobile device configuration, WIFI, patching, email, authentication, endpoint management, legal requirements
  • Create or update IT Security standards and procedures



  • Bachelors Degree
  • Must have solid communication skills, and organizational skills, and have experience in IT Security or a security-related field (audit, risk, or compliance, IT, endpoint management, server management, networking)
  • Must be able to work with minimal oversight as an individual and team contributor
  • Must collaborate with other IT Security personnel, IT Operations, Internal Audit,  Architecture, Development, Support, Compliance and Risk Management, Asset Protection, Legal, and Privacy. 
  • 2 years of experience supporting operational IT security requirements or equivalent security training/education
  • 2 years of experience with Windows and/or Linux operating systems
  • 2 years of experience with Active Directory and/or Azure
  • Knowledge of SOX, PCI, HIPAA regulations



  • Prefer experience with scripting: PowerShell, Regex, php, python
  • Prefer experience with Cisco, Checkpoint, Fortinet Security products
  • Prefer experience with Tripwire
  • Prefer experience with Broadcom/Symantec Products
  • Has a breadth of basic security knowledge
  • Is passionate about IT Security and risk management
  • Able to communicate IT Security concepts in layperson's terms
  • Is social and interactive with diverse, non-technical groups
  • Employs creative methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
