The Lead Systems Administrator for Dev/Ops plays a pivotal role in the overall consistency, stability, health and performance of the technical architecture by leveraging knowledge to solve complex technical problems and help recommend solutions and improvements based on best practices and/or business requests.



  • Application performance monitoring of key systems and reporting of issues to key stakeholders.
  • Responsible for the overall consistency, stability, health and performance of the technical architecture.
  • Provides timely problem resolution for all technology-related issues within the environment.
  • Resolves and/or properly addresses customer requests/incidents regarding software or reporting toolset.
  • Identifies, evaluates and recommends improvements based on best practices and/or requests from business representatives.
  • Ensures security compliance.
  • Supports upgrades, patching, and changes to applications.
  • Manages systems performance and supports capacity planning.
  • Supports project activities by providing technical expertise.
  • Manages vendor relationship during technical issues and problems resolution where vendor support is required.
  • Supports the planning and execution of implementation plans.
  • Plans capacity needs for technical environment and meets with stakeholders to determine ongoing requirements



  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of IT experience in Dev/Ops
  • Experience in JBOSS and Apache administration
  • Knowledge of dynaTrace or equivalent APM solution
  • Understanding of Databases
  • Self-starter, strong aptitude to learn new technologies
  • Solid technical skills
  • Well organized with good attention to detail
  • Strong written and oral communication skills



  • BA in Computer Science or related field
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Works well under high pressure / critical situations
  • Flexibility to work non-business hours to meet critical business needs
