The Manager – Provider Analytics and Reporting is responsible for ensuring that end-to-end processes and procedures are properly configured and optimized to deliver quality provider data and analytical solutions. The Manager partners cross-functionally to define and satisfy a range of data-centric needs and prioritize and resolve escalated issues. This role requires deep understanding of related business processes and proficient technical knowledge of provider data structure and flow across enterprise systems. The Manager will serve as a trusted delegate and team lead, assisting the Senior Manager with quality assurance, project management, employee development, and individual task and project ownership.



  • Lead knowledge management initiatives by understanding, documenting, and maintaining data definitions, reporting requirements, performance standards and regulations that impact the team’s scope and deliverables
  • Support quality assurance and performance management initiatives for department operations, including internal KPI reporting and external SLA/PG reporting
  • Support provider data integrity and governance initiatives via analytics projects, process design/redesign and collaboration with adjacent functional areas
  • Identify, evaluate and execute opportunities for new tasks, projects and capabilities, as well as continuous improvement of existing tasks, projects and capabilities
  • Navigate and analyze a high volume and variety of data to identify root causes of issues, size and characterize impacts, and recommend options for resolution
  • Serve as primary contact and triage for escalated issues, delegating and managing tasks and/or providing critical thinking and assuming ownership of task resolution as required
  • Assist with leadership of team operations, employee training and development
  • Provide backup support for routine and priority tasks and projects
  • Perform specialized analytics and/or reporting tasks
  • Serve as a cross-functional subject matter representative for provider data and processes



  • Bachelor’s Degree in an analytical/technical field, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of progressive experience focused on data analytics, reporting and visualization in a business or managed care setting
  • Experience with cleansing, integrating and analyzing large and complex data sets
  • High proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel
  • Programming experience in R, Python or SAS
  • Strong balance of business, analytics and technology acumen
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, teamwork and project management skills
  • High level of accountability, motivation, learning agility and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment



  • Master’s Degree in an analytical/technical field
  • Experience with Business Objects querying/reporting
  • Experience with Qlik development and design
  • Strong working knowledge of R, RStudio and common packages
  • Working knowledge of descriptive and inferential statistics
  • Working knowledge of continuous improvement concepts
  • Experience with process automation
  • Experience with Facets in a managed care setting
  • Experience with Medicare and/or Medicaid programs and reporting
  • Experience with health provider and network data elements
