GENERAL FUNCTION

Lead and oversees the Execution of Real Estate economics review, approval, and reporting activities. Responsibilities include guide and support short term as well as long term Fleet tactical planning, Real Estate Committee financial review, market and operational analysis, Nextore project planning. This role is also responsible for the successful execution of the Real Estate capital plan process.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage end-to-end process for executive reviews and Corporate Milan approvals of all real estate investments including lease renewals, new stores, and store closures.
  • Ensure content accuracy and validate internal alignment with all brands and functions prior to executive reviews.
  • Review Financial plan quarterly submissions ensuring partnership with Real Estate, Nextore and Finance for alignment
  • Responsible for partnering with Nextore, Visual Merchandise, Operations and Finance to manage project kick off AFE and Scope of Work process
  • Drive fleet initiatives that will support meeting brand objectives
  • Facilitate reviews and coordinate questions/requirements with brands and functions.
  • Track different process approvals for NRRC (New/Remodel/Relocation/Closure) projects execution
  • Provide weekly reporting on status of all projects and measurement against goals.
  • Drive process improvements and recommend efficiencies to improve the accuracy, effectiveness, and efficiency of leasing activity for Luxottica Retail North America Real Estate.
  • Build strong relationships by collaborating with team members, manager, and business partners to ensure that business & project goals are met

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate or related field; MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant experience plus experience in retail real estate, retail or project management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required to interact independently with senior executives across the company.
  • Ability to lead upward and influence decision making at the leadership level
  • Strong computer skills including Excel, Power Point, Business Objects, Word
  • Demonstrated excellent financial analysis skills.
  • Strong knowledge of retail real estate in all venues types.
  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent presentation and writing skills. Best in Class ability to convey – in written form – extremely complex analysis in simple to understand ways.
  • Ability to verbally convey complex analysis in ways that typical, non- analytical business professionals can understand.
