The Senior Analyst - Medicaid (Provider Operations) will be responsible for ensuring end to end processes and procedures are set up to deliver quality provider data and serve as a key contributor to current and future Medicaid projects. This includes the technical understanding of the provider information flow between enterprise systems. The Senior Analyst will be hands on with updating necessary provider information and a lead for the provider information management team to ensure team members are adequately trained and delivering quality information entered into systems.



  • Oversight of provider data integrity through monitoring data trends and identification of issues. This includes the day to day entry systems for processors as well as the system and batch processes.
  • Define requirements, processes and implementation of Medicaid information as it pertains to provider data as new states are added.
  • Manage ongoing maintenance and changes to Medicaid regulations across all implemented states.
  • Aligns project scope and deliverables as it aligns with government and/or state regulations
  • Partner with the functional compliance manager to ensure new processes are established and compliant with federal/state regulations and adhered to
  • Defines and leads sessions to develop efficient enterprise level business processes and standards that simplify processes and deliver enhanced provider data management quality. Produces process design documents to solidify understanding.
  • Identify through self-driven queries/reports operational efficiencies and defines a plan to implement.
  • Serve as a contact for Medicaid escalations that involve Provider Relations which will require critical thought process to resolve. Seeks to understand the impact of provider set up on cross functional business processes to ensure resolution.
  • Navigate large quantities of complicated data to derive root cause and impacts of data/process issues to the organization while adhering to regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to distill large data, take raw data and turn into meaningful information for leadership.
  • Responsible for the identification and correction of provider data issues within the organization and identify plans to resolve data issues. Ability to quantify the impact of the data issue for organizational prioritization using fact driven methodologies.
  • Ensures team adheres to policies and procedures and maintains compliant operations by developing/maintaining/executing audit programs.
  • Establish relevant internal and external KPI reporting to measure success/productivity of team as well as growth required to support new Medicaid business.



  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • 3+ years experience in a healthcare related field
  • Business analysis experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication
  • Strong problem-solving, analysis and issue resolution skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple assignments, establish priorities, and demonstrate excellent time management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications and ability to learn department and job specific software systems.



  • Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid requirements
  • Project Management experience
  • Business Objects reporting experience
