GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sr Analyst IT Security is responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring security solutions in support of global Luxottica business systems (retail, manufacturing, insurance, etc.).  The incumbent will implement solutions based on detailed analysis and research to ensure security support delivery in line with information security best practices and regulatory compliance requirements.  The Sr Analyst Security will support audit and testing activities, architecture reviews, security incident response, root cause analysis, troubleshooting and investigations as required.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Solve SOC tickets and other IT Security Alerts. Work with SOC to improve process
  • Manage endpoint security systems: file integrity monitoring, encryption, ATP/EDR, IDS/IPS, proxy client, disk encryption, remote access
  • Deploy and manage network security systems: IDS/IPS, email security, network proxy
  • Drive implementation of security requirements by support teams on firewalls,  mobile devices, WIFI, patching, email, authentication, endpoint management, legal requirements
  • Administer security event logging systems
  • Create or update IT Security standards and procedures
  • Coordinate and implement information systems security measures in order to regulate systems and data access while ensuring confidentiality, integrity and availability business goals and requirements are met
  • Develop security metrics to measure organizational compliance performance and adherence to defined technical standards

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent communication skills, and organizational skills, and have extensive experience in IT Security or a security-related field (audit, risk, or compliance)
  • Must be able to work with minimal oversight as an individual and team contributor
  • Must collaborate with other IT Security personnel, IT Operations, Internal Audit, Architecture, Development, Support, Compliance and Risk Management, Asset Protection, Legal, and Privacy. 
  • 4 years of experience supporting operational IT security requirements or equivalent security training/education
  • 4 years of experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
  • 4 years of experience with Active Directory and/or Azure
  • In-depth understanding of SOX, PCI, HIPAA regulations
  • Experience with scripting: PowerShell, Regex, php, python

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prefer experience with Cisco, Checkpoint, Fortinet Security products
  • Prefer experience with Tripwire
  • Prefer experience with Broadcom/Symantec Products
  • Prefer CISSP or other industry certification
  • Has a extensive IT security knowledge
  • Passionate about IT Security and risk management, seeks to foster in others
  • Able to communicate IT Security concepts in layperson's terms
  • Highly social and interactive with diverse, non-technical groups
  • Employs creative methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
  • Comfortable  talking to business groups
