The Sr. Recruiter sources, identifies, screens and engages with Licensed Opticians for EssilorLuxottica and its Brands for current and future needs within an assigned geographic area. 



  • Mines news and key websites for Eyecare intelligence.
  • Creates and drives strong sourcing efforts.
  • Develops and maintains a network of diverse industry contacts.
  • Maintains understanding of innovative recruitment tools, technologies and best practices.
  • Mentors and assists in the development of other recruiters, field leaders and key business parnters.
  • Attends business line and HR meetings.
  • Participates in recruiting, HR and Enterprise initiatives.
  • Understand the strategic plans of Luxottica OD Recruiting Team and its brands.
  • Sets and manages the strategy and execution for roles.
  • Identifies viable candidates and sources using research tools.
  • Creates talent pipeline, assists with career planning for mulitiple locations, sources candidates for high potential needs.   
  • Creates and maintains written documentation to internal partners (status reports, weekly update emails, thank you notes, etc).
  • Partners with Field Leaders to assist with transition and onboarding for new hires.
  • Provides substantive and competency-based feedback to all prospects.
  • Remains well versed in the value and employment proposition of EssilorLuxottica and its brands and articulates that proposition both verbally and in writing.
  • Creates a stellar candidate experience.
  • Identifies and anticipates candidates needs and follows issues to closure.
  • Collaborates across the business (Administration, Credentialing (if needed), Onboarding, etc.) to maximize candidate satisfaction.
  • Collaborates with Field Leaders to create and deliver a comprehensive, compelling and balanced affiliation; differentiates EssilorLuxottica’s affiliation/offer from others.
  • Demonstrates in-depth awareness of employment laws and industry regulations; knows when to engage legal or key business partners for support.
  • Builds long-term and meaningful relationships. 



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field
  • 2+ years’ professional experience, including experience for a large retailor, medical/healthcare or technical experience in recruiting or business role
  • Ability to travel (overnight) 75% of time within a defined geography
  • Knowledge of various Practice Modalities, Equipment and terminology
  • Knowledge of state regulations for Opticianry
  • Strong negotiation skills 



  • 2+ years of business or recruitment experience in Eyecare Industry
  • Knowledge of various practice modalities: Corporate, Private, Medical, etc.
  • Understanding of Eyecare business and patient care
  • Detailed knowledge of state by state laws and regulations pertaining to Eyecare
