GENERAL FUNCTION

The Manager Business Data will lead the Logistics Customer Service Department operational and analytical activities.  The mission of the role is to champion the Voice of the Customer (VOC), instill a culture of excellence, and promote a proactive approach to prevent and resolve service level issues that might affect customer experience. This position is critical for smooth communication & alignment between the Atlanta Logistics team and our internal customers, driving a clear focus on preventative problem solving and continuous improvement.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages internal customers (NA.com, Retail, Wholesale, RXO), establishing a clear flow of communication/sharing for logistic issues experienced by the final customers.
  • Manages two teams (Customer Service and Routing) by holding them accountable to their day to day activities and department goals
  • Provides timely feedback and works on personal development with each employee
  • Uses and analyzes data to drive improvements in warehouse processes that prevents issues from happening
  • Gathers and validates customer requirements (VOC) to ensure the logistic performance is in line with customer expectations
  • Liaises with Executive Team, Commercial teams, and Operations Managers to ensure communication is established and issues are promptly identified, resolved or escalated
  • Prepares & analyzes KPIs applying strategic thinking to drive improvement opportunities
  • Support the Executive Team with ad-hoc analysis and reporting; routinely presents data and insights to both associate level and upper management
  • Prevents service issues by monitoring the open orders and WIP in the distribution center
  • Leads daily meetings with Operations to understand priorities/risks and areas of attention

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Well organized, self-motivated, adheres to deadlines and ability to multi-task
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics or business environment
  • Experience in working in complex, matrixed and global environments
  • Able to gather, manipulate and interpret data, solve problems, predict trends, and establish priorities
  • Good communication and team building skills
  • Experience with SAP AFS, MS Office and planning systems preferred
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Strong data management & analysis skill set
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in Data Visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc)
  • Master’s Degree/MBA
