To support our global business, Luxottica operates multiple manufacturing and logistics facilities across North America to support our retail stores and wholesale customers.



The position will support the Operations by creating visibility reports of forecasted volumes and order portfolio analysis in order to anticipate shipment levels and plan capacity at the DC. He/she will collaborate with the Markets and Operations/Lab teams to foresee changes in the volumes that require updates to operational plans. He/she will compile volume forecasts and material availability data to prepare retail, wholesale, and e-commerce forecasts.



  • Reduce planning deviations / errors and improve forecasting accuracy.
  • Communicate closely with the commercial team on volume forecasting and with Operations on capacity planning
  • Lead the forecasting meeting with the Operations and phone calls with the Markets
  • Closely monitor actual shipments / invoicing, versus forecasts and analyze the root causes of the variances to key stakeholders.
  • Prepare and analyze sets of reports and KPIs on order portfolio and forecasts, showing eventual deviations from planned capacity/volumes
  • Prepare and analyze the service level performance of the DC and other related areas.
  • Design and implement reporting solutions with the Global Reporting team in Logistics.
  • Assist in compiling a-hoc reports and KPIs.
  • Gather the requirements, validate the logics and automate reports on volumes and Service Levels.



  • 3+ years of experience in Planning, Forecasting and Reporting
  • Master’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or other related field
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Results oriented with a proven track record
  • Hands on attitude but with focus on the bigger picture
  • Strong blend of analytical, decision making, and creative problem solving skills
  • Advanced in Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint presentations



  • SAP knowledge
