GENERAL FUNCTION

The Materials Handler II will be the subject matter expert on operational processes. This associate will oversee the receipt and shipment of goods, inventory accuracy, and training of associates.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Attempt to identify the problem and determine nature of issue and engage appropriate party to resolve.
  • Gather necessary examples and data on the issue and communicate the issue to the appropriate resource.
  • Active and consistent follow up until open tickets are resolved
  • Unloads and loads semi-trucks, package trucks (UPS, Federal Express).
  • Signs for, counts, and inspects delivered product.
  • Ensures accurate and timely processing of product received.
  • Analyzes WIP report to ensure orders are shipped according to channel lead time.
  • Clears rejections from RFID tunnel and resolves rejection reasons.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years relevant work experience
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written)
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint
  • Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as requested by leadership
  • Ability to interact professionally with all levels of personnel
  • Self-Starter; team player

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with SAP
