GENERAL FUNCTION

The  Administrator Marketing is responsible for the day-to-day activity of Ray-Ban in the North America Market, ensuring that all marketing activities are implemented with excellence.

 

This role is responsible for helping to execute the Product and Trade Marketing strategy of Ray-Ban to increase brand visibility and achieve defined business objectives.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports Brand Manager to ensure the brand and product strategy is executed at the local level to support customers within our channels of trade
  • Translates global product strategies into actionable local plans, working cross-functionally across teams (trade marketing, PR, training)
  • Assists Brand Manager in “Market Week” 2 times per year, preparing all samples, presentations and meeting materials
  • Works in conjunction with team to develop and execute in-store events/programs designed to drive business by account, including sales contests, holiday promotions, seasonal events, etc
  • Ensures availability of appropriate trade materials, displays and other POP materials for the field sales team
  • Supports Brand Manager in the development of various print and digital materials for the field sales force (i.e. training manuals, sales brochures, etc.), and manages all internal platforms (Promoboxx, Regulator)
  • Monitor and evaluate Trade Marketing programs and activities to measure effectiveness and recommendation of improvements as needed
  • Be the key point of contact and source of information for product information and campaign visibility for the brand
  • Performs competitive analysis looking at retail environment and competitor brands and examines market opportunities for the brand
  • Ability to work cross functionality with other teams to achieve business goals

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Business or Sales
  • Require 3+ years of marketing experience with at least one year of trade/field marketing experience
  • Understanding of field/trade marketing activities
  • Basic knowledge of marketing principles and practices
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • High level of computer literacy: PowerPoint, Word, Excel
  • Basic understanding of budgeting, cost estimating and fiscal management principles and procedures
  • Ability to solve problems quickly, think creatively and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Motivated self-starter, process-oriented with a high attention to detail and sense of urgency
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and flexibility to accommodate demanding project schedules
  • Maintains a professional relationship and line of communication with all business contacts, sales force and customers
  • Ability to travel domestically, when needed
