The Manager of Business Data Analytics is a part of the Talent Acquisition team accountable  for analytics, reporting and providing insights to the Talent and HR leadership teams on Talent related programs. This position plays a pivotal role in influencing current and future decisions across internal and external talent programs, by analyzing historical successes or opportunities and advising on future work. The Manager of Business Data Analytics will use data to innovate new creative ideas that are followed through to the point of execution.



  • Utilizes Applicant Tracking System & HRIS to track & maintain a database of relevant metrics that support the development of strategies to remedy opportunities identified by data.
  • Develop reports, templates, dashboards, and scorecards targeted at tracking employee, candidate and new hire data.
  • Manages analysis of internal and external data, identifying key trends and contributing and/or owning the development of presentations.
  • Work with the Talent Acquisition & Talent Management leadership to establish and maintain KPI’s and metrics for the department.
  • Collaborate with and influence Talent Acquisition leadership to analyze internal performance data of Recruiters, Specialist, and Sourcers to compare to the established department KPI’s.
  • Provides statistical analyses to provide a predictive focus on internal & external Talent efforts.
  • Partner and influence HR Operations Team and other HR leadership to integrate Talent data and determine relationships and trends.
  • Ability to both think strategically and execute tactically, a persistent attention to detail.
  • Have an active voice in promoting change and innovative ideas to drive the department forward.
  • Develop, design, and manage reporting including research and recommendation for improvements to automate and provide options for self service
  • Development of survey tools to assess employee & candidate experiences and other behavioral data to assess talent focused efforts.
  • Tracks metrics to monitor the success of campus recruitment strategy, efforts and assess the effectiveness of programs for pipeline development.
  • Present statistical results findings to internal partners.
  • Lead small project teams, and volunteer for stretch assignments to expand working knowledge within, and outside of sourcing.



  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years’ Analytics, Data & Reporting experience in a HR, Talent or Recruitment function (preferably within a federal contractor compliant organization).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office suite experience.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to articulate messages in a concise and cohesive manner
  • Prior exposure and presentation experience to executive leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience working with data / statistical analysis in a large, multi-unit organization.
  • Strong project management and process improvement skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver timely results with a high focus on accuracy and attention to detail.



  • Masters Degree, preference in Organizational Psychology, Data Science or Analytics
  • Previous experience creating and implementing data analytics strategy.
