GENERAL FUNCTION

The Analyst is responsible for analytics, reporting and providing insights to the Talent and HR leadership teams on recruiting related programs and KPIs. This position plays a pivotal role in influencing current and future decisions across internal and external talent acquisition programs, by analyzing historical successes or opportunities and advising on future work. The analyst will use data to innovate new creative ideas that are followed through to the point of execution.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Utilizes Applicant Tracking System & HRIS to track & maintain a database of relevant metrics that support the development of strategies to remedy opportunities identified by data.
  • Develop and maintain standard and ad-hoc reporting, templates and dashboards to enhance TA reporting efficiency and presentation.
  • Work with the Talent Acquisition & Talent Management leadership to establish and maintain KPI’s and metrics for the department.
  • Collaborate with and influence Talent Acquisition leadership to analyze internal performance data of Recruiters, Specialist, and Sourcers to compare to the established department KPI’s.
  • Assists in the development of survey tools to assess employee & candidate experiences and other behavioral data to assess talent focused efforts.
  • Tracks metrics to monitor the success of campus recruitment strategy, efforts and assess the effectiveness of programs for pipeline development.
  • Create presentations to showcase quantitative results of the department to internal partners.
  • Collaborate and partner with others from across the organization (both local and internationally) to use data driven insights and solutions to execute business strategies.
  • Lead small project teams, and volunteer for stretch assignments to expand working knowledge within, and outside of sourcing.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years’ Analytics, Data & Reporting experience in a HR, Talent or Recruitment function (preferably within a federal contractor compliant organization).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.
  • Ability to both think strategically and execute tactically, a persistent attention to detail.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office suite experience (focus on VLookup, Pivot Tables)
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to articulate messages in a concise and cohesive manner
  • Curiosity and takes initiative

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong project management and process improvement skills desired 
  • Ability to work autonomously with little to no supervision at times
  • Advanced technical skills to understand and improve HR systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver timely results with a high focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience working with data/statistical analysis in a large, multi-unit organization strongly preferred 
  • Experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau)
  • Experience working with Successfactors ATS
