GENERAL FUNCTION

The HR Project Sr Manager position will be an integral team member for the EssilorLuxottica Human Resources team. This individual will need to be hands-on and strategic and will be responsible for leading and executing HR projects of all sizes and complexity within our global commercial teams. This position will work closely with HR stakeholders and cross-functional teams to provide analysis and insight that drive action and HR strategy. The ideal candidate will be integral part of the cross-functional HR team and be able to operate in high growth and fast paced business within a highly complex matrixed to vertically integrated organization. In this position, the Sr Manager will lead a team to drive change across the Human Resources team.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The role will partner with shared services teams and lead all HRBP business unit processes including but not limited to: Employee Engagement, Performance Management, Orientation, On-boarding, Training/Development, HC Management, Communications.
  • Lead team through projects and successfully develop direct reports.
  • Develop strategy for the tracking and interpreting and analyzing data and KPI’s
  • Partner with HR and the business to analyze data and present insights that drive decisions and process improvement opportunities.
  • Lead the planning of resources including headcount management, vendor relationships, and troubleshooting/identifying solutions for HR related processes and workflows.
  • Motivate change management to support achievement of business goals.
  • Reviews trends and suggests recommended actions to ensure positive organizational changes and continued employee engagement.
  • Challenges the status quo and proactively identifies/develops solutions that positively impact the workforce.
  • Develops innovative ideas to HR initiatives, creates action plans, and builds consensus among cross-functional teams and client groups to move projects forward.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders and cross-functional partners to provide client groups seamless HR support and talent optimization.

  

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 7+ years’ experience in Human Resources, Project Management or related field
  • 5+ years of management experience
  • Proven and demonstrable experience of driving the HR function within a fast-paced, environment.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, with ability to build pivot tables and other useful reporting analytics upon request
  • Agile learner and flexible in order to adapt to a highly entrepreneurial dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence
  • Aptitude to engage, inspire, and influence people
  • Ability to identify opportunities and proactively lead and drives change
  • Strong business acumen and organizational agility
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast pace environment
