The Sr. Manager of Product Strategy is responsible for the developing, leading and executing the global product strategy for licensed eyewear brand. This role ensures that yearly brand sales goals are met by collaborating with licensor and internal stakeholders to bring to products to market that are in accordance with the 3-year growth plan and annual KPIs. Provide local input into global brand strategy and innovation development.



  • Partner with global brand team to ensure 3-year growth plan is in alignment with product growth pillars
  • Prepare and present quarterly business review to licensor with key findings, learnings and next steps
  • Prepare and present annual internal brand and product review to upper management
  • Identify key product segmentation or ongoing market and trend opportunities to grow the business
  • Lead the partnership between retail and WS partners to ensure product needs are addressed and opportunities are identified and executable in a timely manner
  • Responsible for identifying product opportunites by analyzing the business and product trends.
  • Manage yearly model and SKU budget to ensure year end target is met through discontinuation
  • Lead development process with licensor and internal stakeholders to ensure key milestones are met in accordiance to the development calendar.
  • Lead and conduct market feedback session to deep dive on business and product opportunites
  • Create strategy for annual brand guidelines for retail and WS markets
  • Create product creative briefs for cross-functional teams (R&D, technical, licensor, design) outlining strategies, positioning, concept and inspiration
  • Expert on aesthetic aspects of product development which inclues interpretation of 2D/3D drawings, optical knowledge, understanding of frame construction and basic lens technology.



  • BA/BS in Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management or Business Administration
  • 8+ years’ experience in product development, merchandising, retail buying, brand management or licensing with consumer goods
  • Analytical/Strategic Thinker with a proven track record
  • Managed multiproduct lines within a brand (entry brand – luxury brand)
  • Self-starter, motivated, proactive, dependable, able to work in a fast-pace environment
  • Highly detail-oriented. Ability to handle several tasks/assignments simultaneously and to maintain flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent communications, organizational, presentation and project management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office: Excel, Word, Power Point



  • Licensing experience
  • Product development experience in accessory industry
  • MBA
