The Director Finance (Labor Management) had full responsibility for developing labor models to support labor plan/forecast by Store, by position mix and tenure for all optical brands (LensCrafters and Pearle Vision).



  • Responsible for developing labor models to support Labor Plan/Forecast by Store, by position mix and tenure
  • Includes: Labor Hours, wage rates, tax rates, special brand initiatives, non-productive labor forecasts, training and development initiatives
  • Quarterly/Monthly/Annual Corporate forecast updates for a $500 Million P&L line
  • Weekly review of hours vs. forecast/grid for all brands – by store, region and zone
  • Lead monthly labor expense review vs. forecast/plan/LY - for multiple Luxottica Brands
  • Prepare commentary and analysis for monthly management reporting
  • Identify variance drivers (hours, wage rate (mix vs rate) tax rates, variable comp variances, etc.) vs. forecast and prior year on a monthly basis
  • Review Plans, and responsible for financial modeling to ensure plans work with financial architecture
  • Monthly forecast of payouts based on sales forecast
  • Strategically Partner with Brand Operations teams with contest and other payroll initiatives, and to identify impact of spiff/bonus program
  • Partner with the Operations and Compensation team to align and review the variable compensations schemes in the stores for optical brands
  • Partner with Ops to ensure labor allocation process to the stores aligns with budget
  • Oversee labor allocation process to the stores to ensure labor distribution aligns with budget
  • Responsible for the next evolution of labor standards across multiple Luxottica brands
  • Strategically Partner with Brand Operations teams with contest and other payroll initiatives, and to identify impact of spiff/bonus program
  • Ensure that store goals drive sales performance and are tied to hours forecast
  • Labor rebalance development, execution evolution and sustainment
  • Responsible for calculating store goals for multiple retail brands on a monthly basis
  • Responsible for weekly sales performance reporting vs. goal – by store, region, and zone



  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Business Administration or related discipline
  • 10+ years’ experience in finance / accounting
  • 5+ years leading large scale projects
  • Experience with Hyperion, SAP, Business Objects
