GENERAL FUNCTION

This role is dedicated support for the business analytics of the Pearle Vision corporate retail, franchise and OD business. The position will partners will field leaders as well as corporate partners to prioritize key organizational hypotheses and to help drive data analysis within the field corporate stores and franchise owner operations. This role will support run-the-business as well as special initiatives that will identify key business drivers to improve predictability, forecasting, setting targets and monitoring performance.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and monitor business performance reporting and action management
  • Leverage company and market information to assess current situation, identify key implications and trends, and develop strategies to successfully improve results
  • Provide analysis of Pearle Franchisee financial performance, including comparisons to internal and external benchmarks
  • Partner with field leaders to develop tools and activities to support business improvement
  • Provide ad-hoc analytic support to Pearle business functions – analyzing business results, developing business cases, and collaborating with key partners to help brainstorm and support innovation
  • Work with stakeholders across the enterprise to develop a Testing program and testing as a discipline and actively drive usage and adoption.
  • Build analytics and reporting platform which provides actionable store performance insights including predictive capabilities and improvement opportunities
  • Establish key performance indicator dashboard for supply chain performance through partnership with relevant Luxottica business units
  • Monitor and analyze supply chain KPI performance, identify areas of improvement or opportunity and develop action plans for improvement
  • Prepare and delivers insight presentations and action recommendations. Simply and efficiently communicate complex subject matter.
  • Guide business partners on the interpretation, implications and use of analytic results

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or other analytical business discipline
  • 5 years’ experience working with data with a backgrounds in statistics, analytics or finance
  • 5-7 years work experience or demonstrated ability to analyze and provide business insights
  • Ability to be hypothesis driven – use hypotheses to scope approach, research, etc.
  • Excellent prioritization skills with a clear focus on results
  • Strong Excel modeling (financial and business) capabilities
  • Ability to interpret analytical findings into relevant, actionable and understandable business insights and actions
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong communication skills – role will have a heavy emphasis on getting partner “buy-in”
  • Strong presentation skills (PowerPoint development and presentation) will be required
