The role of the Manager, Sales Operations - Strategic Partnerships and Sales Programs will contribute to the top line growth of the Sport Channel by partnering with the Sales team to develop nationwide strategies for key alliance groups and then demonstrating Luxottica’s value proposition by providing customized solutions and programs to these groups.



  • Partners closely with the Sales team to identify competitive trend opportunities and build the promotional calendar of events that are in line with category specific needs.
  • Analyze segmentation across the verticals in the Sport Channel to design sales incentive targets that align with the category sales goals.
  • Delivers strong communication of plans and the roadmap to the Sales Team to support seamless execution.
  • Design, implement and develop promotions, sales incentives, contests, and annual customer programs.
  • Define elements of each promotion (objectives, purchase criteria, collateral support, contents and packaging, counter activities, distribution support and educational needs to meet vertical and sales goals.
  • Support the sales team in negotiating annual preferred vendor agreements with key strategic partner heads.
  • Provide point of contact for account personnel to resolve account issues, provide answers to questions, business updates, delivery status, invoicing, and tracking.
  • Liaise between cross-functional partners to secure the back end support, coordination, and alignment needed to execute resort sponsorship events in a timely manner.
  • Partner closely with Business Planning team and finance to provide monthly cost of sales analysis to ensure ROI and cost of sales alignment.
  • Partnering with VP, Sport Channel to manage the related budgets.
  • Conduct ongoing sales analyses and hindsight’s to clearly identify wins, trends, best practices and opportunities to improve and maximize future programs.
  • Understand competitive landscape and suggest solutions.
  • Collaborates with all internal cross-functional groups (Creative, Marketing, Forecasting, Planning, Sales Ops, Finance, Sales teams) to ensure alignment and successful execution of programs.



  • 4-year college degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience with implementing programs for a Sales/Field organization.
  • Well versed in multiple categories of the Sport Channel industry
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with budget management.
  • A passionate, energetic team oriented individual with strong analytical, interpersonal, and creativity.
  • Communicates and works effectively with people at all levels both internally and externally.
  • Ability to work under pressure with fluctuating deadlines; must be able to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to manage deadlines with speed and accuracy; must be detail-oriented.
  • Meticulous organization, attention to detail, excellent communication and consistent follow-through skills are a necessity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft  Office Applications (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Business Objects)
  • Travel up to 25% - 50% of time.



  • Previous management responsibility is a plus.
  • Experience working within wholesale channel of trade
