GENERAL FUNCTION:

We are looking for a team of enthusiastic thought leaders to lead our training and development initiatives with our national, regional and sun specialty customers.

In close partnership with the internal teams and your account(s), you will assist with the implementation, and facilitation (both live and hybrid) of staff training for your assigned account(s). You will identify future training needs and gaps in training content to generate higher growth revenue for both EssilorLuxottica and your customers. With the account(s) you will and creating a curriculum to facilitate that training. You will complete weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting on KPIs for each supported account, with a specific focus on adoption of Leonardo, EssilorLuxottica’s innovative learning platform.

To be successful in this role you must have the ability to train staff on both eyewear and eyecare subjects, as well as practice and business management.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with appropriate internal departments and account(s) to assess training needs
  • Develop the curriculum, instructional strategy, coordinating content, reporting on curated training to the needs of the account(s) and in line with EssilorLuxottica’s growth strategy
  • Design and deliver training experiences in multiple formats, live or hybrid instructor-led training, LMS-based eLearning, documentation
  • Conduct follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs by collecting, analyzing, and visualizing data with a focus on its impact on sales
  • Assist in enrollment management, distribution of eLearning content, and the maintenance of digital learning assets in a learning or content management system and other digital platforms within each assigned account(s)
  • Develop and maintain communication channels both internally and with the assigned account(s) to ensure staff members have knowledge of training and development events and resources

 

BASIC QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Learning, Training, or Retail Leadership
  • 5+ years of relevant industry and sales experience
  • Eyewear and eyecare knowledge and experience
  • Excellent in-person and virtual presentation skills
  • Designing documentation intended for digital distribution
  • Recording, editing, and publishing videos of user interface demonstrations

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • ABO certification
  • Developing SCORM-compliant eLearning modules, hosted in a proprietary learning management system (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, or comparable elearning development suite)
