GENERAL FUNCTION

The Finance Manager plans, reports and analyzes financial and operational performance for LensCrafters to identify opportunities, provide recommendations and drive change throughout the organization.

 

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leverage complex excel spreadsheets, query tools, automation of formulas, and custom formatting of reports to efficiently provide insights and analytics to leaders
  • Manage all field leader and store financial reporting by developing functionality to automate and streamline data collection, reporting and analysis.
  • Create and streamline the store goal process; provide insights and assist in decision making on establishing store goals.
  • Manage all field inquiries regarding financial reporting, goals and KPIs; effectively communicate with non-financial partners.
  • Gather, interpret and present complex financial and operation data in a clear and concise manner to corporate and field leadership teams.
  • Analyze and benchmark financial results internally and externally to uncover opportunities and establish best-in-class processes.
  • Develop forecast for direct selling expenses; ensure there are adequate action plans to achieve forecast.
  • Complete detailed review of actual results on a monthly basis including fully understanding drivers of results.
  • Perform ad hoc variance financial analyses by performing root cause investigation, developing correction action plans and partnering with cross-functional teams to execute action plans.
  • Participate in special projects and creates ad hoc analysis.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • S. and C.P.A. and / or M.B.A in Accounting or Finance
  • P.A. with B.S. or M.B.A. in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years accounting and/or financial planning and analysis experience
  • Experience with financial modeling
  • Proficiency with systems (Excel, Hyperion, Business Objects, Essbase, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Strong analytical, data mining / report creation abilities
  • Initiative – Demonstrates willingness and ability to be a self-starter, taking the initiative to solve problems/pursue business opportunities and/or opportunities to increase SGH efficiency
  • Results Oriented – Remains focused on desired goal versus the process

  • Experience with forecasting and statistical analysis techniques
