The role is a key member of the team charged with managing lenses category at Luxottica Retail Optical North America. Scope includes LensCrafters, Target Optical, Pearle Vision store and online channels, and other consumer facing businesses as needed in the U.S. and Canada. The objective of the role is to grow the category by executing a long-term product roadmap, managing launches of new products, and ensuring channels have the product knowledge and tools to sell lenses effectively.

Particular focus of this position is to enable lens assortment for Pearle Vision Corporate and Licensed Operator stores. The role collaborates with Pearle banner functions closely to ensure PV Business Consultants have the lens knowledge and support they need to manage their LOs.

Position requires operational mindset, critical thinking, initiative and drive, as well as experience in problem solving, product management, program planning and implementation. Also required is a technical understanding of lenses, familiarity with EssilorLuxottica lab network and supply chain, and ability to work with a global network of partners within and outside of EssilorLuxottica Group.



  • Lead day-to-day strategy and operations of lens category across channels, identify and resolve issues, with focus on Pearle Vision and inclusive of other banners
  • Manage, and often lead, cross-functional initiatives to test and commercialize new products and refresh existing product lines, as well as supply chain process improvement for Licensed Operators
  • Serve as subject matter expert on cross-functional teams to support channel initiatives
  • Lead lens project implementation, including content requirements and accuracy for selling tools, training, customer facing communications, lens related doctor engagement, and others as needed, e.g., lens/lab materials for Pearle Connect
  • Track, evaluate and escalates common lens catalog requests from Pearle Vision Corp and LO stores, and support resolution as needed
  • Manage lens data and tools required for enabling lens sales, such as SAP lens master data to ensure assortment and pricing accuracy, from requirement definition through to testing and quality assurance in close collaboration with PV operations and systems teams



  • BA degree with concentration in marketing, business, operations, engineering or related quantitative fields
  • 7+ years of related work experience
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams

  • Understanding of lenses and customer experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office
