GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sr Manager, Talent Management & Development will manage the EssilorLuxottica North American leadership development initiatives and processes including Executive Development, Succession Planning, Internal Mobility Mapping, Team Effectiveness Assessments and Change Management Coaching.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with Talent Management team to align on succession and key position mapping across North America
  • Leverage output data from Talent Assessment and through the Talent Analytics team to identify organizational gaps and consult on strategy to elevate internal talent for cross-business mobility
  • Manage leadership and succession development strategy and design programs that align with the business and talent objectives
  • Architect and execute integrated management and leadership development programs and processes to drive professional growth and accountability across the organization
  • Consult with business leaders to understand their leadership and management development needs for input and the appropriate sponsorship, engagement and alignment
  • Facilitate leadership programs and conduct individual coaching or consultations with Senior Leadership
  • Improve organizational effectiveness through the creation and deployment of team development solutions to support elevating leadership capability and to drive a culture of change agility and high-performance
  • Design, develop and manage highly effective leadership development initiatives to drive organizational culture of change management, inclusive leadership, and individualized development to improve the depth and bench of leadership
  • Build strong relationships and communicate with business leaders and HRBPs to align the business strategy and organizational needs with the appropriate leadership development and change management solutions 

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in, HR, Learning & Development, Organizational Psychology or related area
  • 8+ years’ experience in Talent Management, Organizational and Leadership development
  • Business facing HR, L&D experience
  • Strong collaboration skills. Able to proactively partner with HR and Senior Leadership to develop strategy, solutions and outstanding ability to work through others.
  • Strong consulting and facilitation skills. Ability to deliver effective team coaching, both virtually and in-person.
  • Solid diversity and inclusion skillset. Able to embed Diversity & Inclusion strategy in talent processes and programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business strategies into critical talent & workforce strategies/initiatives
  • Demonstrated performance in leadership development strategy, design and implementation
  • High energy, relationship building skills with ability to take initiative, prioritize, influence, negotiate and partner cross-functionally
  • Strong ability to manage highly complex projects and environments. Navigating stakeholder alignment and project managing across a highly matrixed organization.
  • Knowledge of personality or leadership assessment methodology, interpretation, and feedback and multi-rater assessment tools
