This position is responsible for developing and supporting scheduling, forecasting, and management of labor staffing for the Sunglass Hut brand. It will oversee the development, delivery and evaluation of WFM methodologies necessary to maintain approved performance standards including scheduling, productivity and cost management.   



  • Build and manage annual budget of ~$200MM labor dollars. Responsible for financial modeling of labor models to ensure alignment with financial plan.
  • Provide Month-end variance explanations providing insight of main drivers (hours, staffing mix, and wage rates) vs LY and vs Plan.
  • Build weekly and monthly reporting for ~1700 stores to ensure they are managing labor within their budgeted spend. Help anticipate headcount needs based on seasonality.
  • Ensure accurate and meaningful data is reported to leadership on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis regarding main labor KPIs.
  • Lead efforts to create continued efficiencies in labor model (task reduction, process streamlining)
  • Participate in system upgrades to ensure brand is on leading end of technology as it relates to Workforce Planning tools.
  • Increase schedule effectiveness by reviewing labor standards and drivers on a regular basis.
  • Lead workforce management initiatives across the organization – labor modeling, increasing schedule effectiveness, and testing new initiatives.
  • Partner with the Field to drive adoption to Workforce Planning tools and develop skillsets.
  • Partner with Store Operations team for labor allocation for key events and tasks. 
  • Liaison with HR & Compensation for all payroll/wage rate related items that will impact budgets.
  • Liaison with IT and other Center of Excellence groups to drive company-wide initiatives and represent the Sunglass Hut brand.



  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Business Administration or related discipline 
  • 8+ years’ experience in finance (FP&A), implementation and technical project management 
  • 5+ years leading large scale projects  
  • Experience with other workforce management solutions including payroll, equity and time  
  • Experience in Kronos WFM software or retail service industries
