The Marketing Media Sr Manager leads the creation, implementation, buying and measurement of the integrated media & communication strategies for Pearl Vision and Target Optical brands to deliver effective marketing communications plans.


This position is the key cross-functional partner, across all media channels, within EssilorLuxottica NA with daily interactions with senior executives across various departments, specifically with corporate HQ office in Milan. This role influences the brand’s media landscape across all offline and online channels (especially in Digital – display, SEM, SEO, social, video, display and programmatic). 


In this role, the individual will The Marketing Media Sr Manager utilizes various analytics to drive and streamline the optimization of media ROI. 



  • Leads the media investment and the media strategy planning for retail brands.
  • Collaborate with global and local brand marketing & business teams to align media strategies
  • Drives day-to-day interactions with global and regional stakeholders to ensure best-in-class media principles, guidelines and investments are made.
  • Manage the development of the global media and campaign briefs
  • Lead creation, implementation, optimization and measurement of integrated media strategies
  • Lead alignment, measurement and impact of total funnel spend between agency partners
  • Advise local media agencies planning and buying of all media spaces guaranteeing media costs optimization and performance against objectives and KPIs including evaluation of plan strategies, channel mix, tactical details and executional reports as well as validation of assets and units
  • Maintains ultimate accountability for the quality, strategy, and integrity of all media plans/strategies/services delivered.
  • Lead media presentations and reporting for local/global marketing teams and Luxottica leadership teams
  • Takes accountability for all media post buys to deliver the agreed media objectives
  • Develops media metrics and campaign measurement (KPIs)
  • Drive organizational change and digital & data transformation and acceleration
  • Build media culture within marketing and digital teams
  • Acts as a relationship leader, both for internal and external business partnerships.
  • Leads and manages day-to-day interactions with global and regional stakeholders to ensure best-in-class media principles, guidelines and investments are made.



  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related
  • 7+ years of experience with an ideal mix of marketing, media and analytics
  • Digital media planning/buying experience
  • Self-starter attitude with a global mindset with ability to work both autonomously and proactively
  • Full competency on all media channels (digital, OOH, TV, radio, etc.) and ability to evaluate media plans against strategy as well as efficiency/strength
  • Experience with national and local media buying
  • Strong coordination skills to lead/manage complex media plan/executions as well as a complex global organization structure
  • Ability to liaise with partners in multi regions, countries, time zones while still delivering quality work on deadlines
  • Solid analytic skills and ability to communicate results in a simplified manner
  • Understanding of media researches tools/models
  • Strong communication skills
