GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sr. Manager, Marketing Analytics & Planning is responsible for developing and leading the implementation of actionable market and campaign & customer insights to address key strategic marketing questions, improve KPIs and provide enhancement recommendations. This role will also be responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing the performance of marketing activities, ad-hoc analytic requests, and development/automation of regular reports and advise other marketing functions as the knowledge owner for guest and marketing data for the Brand. In addition, the Sr. Manager will lead defining and tracking marketing costs and planning campaign deployments by channel.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leverage and analyze internal and external data points and benchmark data to identify Guest insights and corresponding actions for enhancement
  • Responsible for defining, monitoring and reporting Brand Marketing KPIs performance and translating to presentations for the Brand Leadership team and COE Leaders
  • Coordinate Consumer Research projects with Agency Partners
  • Oversee budget planning, allocation & coordination across the Brand Marketing team
  • Provide competitive benchmark analysis
  • Evaluate return on investment analysis for campaigns as well as recommendations for optimization of current campaigns or implementation of new campaigns
  • Create a detailed timeline of all marketing activities, including production schedules, deadlines for materials delivery
  • Coordinate cross channel Marketing activities with key organizational partners including the Media, Consumer Analytics, Doctor Marketing, eCommerce, Consumer Insights and Corporate Retail Marketing teams. 

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Marketing Analytics, Statistics or related fields
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing analytics or retail analystics positions
  • Marketing expertise, including project planning, marketing analysis, KPI measurement
  • Ability to influence cross-functional partners
  • Budgeting skills
  • Data visualization skills
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Proven ability to communicate verbally and in writing in clear and compelling way – with the ability to gain buy-in and understanding at all levels in a matrix organization
  • Innovation mindset that is driven to investigate, test and learn. 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Retail industry experience or relevant Agency experience
  • Expertise in Google Analytics
  • In-depth understanding of SEM campaign strategies and SEO practices
  • Experience with PPC campaigns
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel
