The Sr Account Manager, Amazon plays a critical role in our sustainable online growth strategy. This requires a strong understanding of the Amazon marketplace, clear alignment with overall business and brand objectives, and the ability to navigate a highly complex and growing marketplace. In addition to helping develop our account and marketplace strategy, the Sr Account Manager will form partnerships with Amazon’s Vendor Management team, crucial to growing this sales channel and utilizing Amazon as a marketing tool to recruit new consumers to our brands.



The Sr Account Manager, Amazon is responsible for developing a strategic partnership with the customer that delivers on Luxottica’s objectives in net sales, profitability, market share, and brand marketing. They will be tasked to develop new business opportunities to maximize sales and increase market share.



  • Collaborate with Sr Director of eCommerce Sales to develop 3-year plan for Amazon account growth
  • Partner with Sales Analyst and Sr Director to develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
  • Develop agendas and presentations for quarterly joint business planning meetings.



  • Track active assortment and new-product-introductions (NPI) to ensure full approved assortment for Amazon. Collaborate with Content Specialist to ensure timely setup of NPI.
  • Partner with North America and Corporate Brand Marketing teams to structure opportunities for brand expansion and growth on Amazon.



  • Partner with Amazon Vendor Management team, brand marketing, and supply chain teams to develop annual promotional calendars, while managing cost of sales budget to hit margin targets.
  • Provide input on content and catalog strategy, including strategy for titles, bullets/descriptions, A+ content, catalog structure / parent groupings, PDP variation structure, etc.
  • Influence advertising strategy on Amazon (sponsored ads, display, media) to align with sales opportunities and objectives.



  • Participate in monthly reviews of fill rate and inventory planning with our Collaborative planning team.
  • Engage in quarterly review of Core and Non-core assortment to align planning and sales objectives.



  • 7+ years sales or ecommerce experience.
  • 2+ years of experience working directly with Amazon as a vendor, or directly for Amazon
  • Well informed of Amazon and online industry trends
  • Digital Savvy: Has a proficient understanding of the shopper journey on Amazon, and the digital advertising ecosystem. Understands how brands use marketing to acquire new consumers.
  • Analytical: Believe in data-driven decision making, test and learn. Ready to roll up sleeves to understand the data and find opportunities.
  • Passionate: Belief in the power and integrity of our brands. Able to persist through roadblocks to get things done.
  • Strong communicator: Capable to craft clear and compelling presentations and communications.
  • Bold thinker: Excited by big ideas and bold change, ready to do what it takes to bring others along.
  • Digital Evangelist: Is passionate about improving our digital presence while assisting in educating the broader organization on best practices and opportunities.
  • Strong PC skills, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
