The Ecommerce Digital Project Manager is integral to helping Luxottica fulfill our goals of growing our e-commerce sales while maintaining and improving the consumer perception of our brands online. This role encompasses functions related to online strategy, governance, and brand management for our wholesale business with e-retailers, bricks & clicks and omnichannel accounts.


This position is responsible for the delivery and implementation of e-Commerce projects and programs for all channels, including e-Commerce, Department Stores, Independents and Key Accounts. This individual will be managing many stakeholders across the organization including senior sales leaders within Wholesale NA and corporate teams (eWholesale and Digital Marketing) based in Milan. The role will be directly responsible for go-to-market support, digital merchandising, distribution, and brand-related projects in online marketplace.




  • Support with GTM (go-to-market) related projects, including online segmentation of all e-Commerce websites per global guidelines
  • Coordinate the development and distribution of digital merchandising content (product data, copy, images)
  • Interact with our customers (retailers) and account managers across channels to provide feedback on how to improve customer’s site experience
  • Monitoring online product distribution and create reporting on unauthorized distribution of product assortment from authorized accounts.



  • Partner with brand marketing teams and corporate e-wholesale team (Milan) to develop and implement online brand distribution standards, including .com site and marketplace (3P seller) approval standards
  • Facilitate brand and website approval and set-up process for e-commerce and omnichannel partners’ websites across all distribution channels
  • Maintain an internal database of approved customer websites and 3P seller accounts by brand
  • Audit customer websites for compliance on brand guidelines and coordinate update of digital assets



  • Form relationships with Sales leaders across the organization to understand how our team can better support the development of a healthy online marketplace for our brands, while growing sales.
  • Act as a thought leader to support accounts in developing an omni-channel relationship with consumers
  • Develop and deliver training to stakeholders within the wholesale sales organization on the distribution management, go-to-market strategy, digital merchandising support, etc.
  • Assist in preparing material to educate the organization on e-commerce projects and content best practices, trends, and opportunities



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Merchandising, Marketing, or relevant experience
  • 5 years of experience working in project management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
  • Ideal candidate is a strong relationship builder, highly customer service oriented, organized, a strong communicator and resourceful



  • Experience working in the optical or retail industry
  • Experience working with sales teams
  • Knowledge of marketplace management (Amazon, Walmart, etc.)
