General Function

The Community Marketing Coordinator (Pros & Media) primary responsibility will be to work with Marketing Stakeholders to support various initiatives including but not limited to pros and influencer management, endemic media forecasting/scheduling/asset deliver, general help with day to day marketing activities, and preparing materials for and working community events/trade shows.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with pros and internal stakeholders to execute a range of activities central to the success of this program, including coordination of video/post deliverables, shipment of sample products, communication around new product launches and marketing campaigns, tracking and reporting, and vendor setup / payment
  • Track Pro Program Application approvals via identification and research of fishing guides and professional anglers that further our message / are an extension of our brand voice
  • Communicate with the platform vendor regarding new business needs using our influencer tracking software solution
  • Assists in the development and planning of regional guide gatherings and other community marketing events on an as needed basis.
  • Maintains calendar/tracker for digital and traditional endemic media ensuring assets are delivered to advertising partners ahead of schedule.
  • Follows up on AFA orders for media marketing partners always keeping them current on Spring/Fall Apparel
  • Support Prescription Sun and Optical ordering process for the marketing organization
  • Partnership Coordination: facilitate requests from various partnerships such as endorsed athletes, media, PR agency, outside vendors, etc.
  • Assists with presentation development, research and forecasting

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Business or Marketing
  • 1+ years of experience in marketing or media buying.
  • Expected to travel 20%-35% of the time.
  • Must be highly responsible, a self-starter and accountable for managing their time and responsibilities while spending time both in the office and on the road.
  • High level of organization and coordination capabilities including managing orders, calendars, and event logistics
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of and passion for fishing and conservation 
  • Prior industry relationships and experience
  • Experience managing media and/or influencer marketing platforms
  • Deep understanding of Community relationships and brand authenticity
