GENERAL FUNCTION

The Lead Business Systems Analyst – SAP SD is responsible for the process design, requirements gathering, configuration & custom development of SAP OTC processes and integration with other modules and systems. This position is responsible for hands-on leadership of cross-functional teams tasked with solving business issues. This position would interface with Business Stakeholders, IT infrastructure & Dev teams to ensure business requirements are met through proper system configuration.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for solving SAP order to cash production issues, change requests and enhancements
  • Day-to-day application support per the SLA guidelines
  • Executes assigned projects performing requirements analysis, solution design, specifications development, testing, rollout, and training
  • Subject matter expert for key SAP SD processes within SAP as well as incoming and outgoing interfaces related to SAP Order to cash flows
  • Support EDI purchase order to invoice flows
  • Perform functional unit testing and conduct UAT
  • Deliver projects within a fixed time/effort model
  • Collaborate with business groups to resolve any SAP order to Cash or logistics related issues. Develop recommendations on designing of business flows in SAP and ensure mutual accountability with the business on design decisions
  • Partner with IT Teams across NA and globally, to manage enhancements and projects
  • Support key integration areas of SD module like Finance, logistics, Supply chain, Materials Management and Warehouse management
  • Expected to support off hours and weekends during deployment of changes to production system, period close and system outages to assist with system restoration

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 8+ years of SAP order to cash functional experience
  • Minimum 2+year experience leading SAP order to cash from scope to deploy
  • Bachelor’s Degree required in information systems, computer science, engineering, or business streams
  • Expert level knowledge on SAP SD functionalities
  • Understanding of ABAP programming objects and debugging
  • Flexible to learn & support new areas on the job per the company’s needs
  • Ability to multitask and takes initiative and under tight time pressures - planning, prioritizing, and controlling own workload
  • Expert level knowledge of integration points with other modules like logistics, MM, WM, and SAP FICO
  • Proficient understanding of SAP sales and distribution solutions like
  • B2B, B2C and other order entry channels like digital applications, EDI etc.
  • Product availability, back-order rescheduling, production order
  • Pricing management & billing
  • Consignment, commissions management
  • Third party tax software like VERTEX etc.
  • Shipping and logistics processes
  • Credit management and customer service functions
  • Contact center integration with order to cash flows
  • Business process reengineering expertise
  • 25% travel and monthly call rotation
  • International travel may be required

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • SAP ECC 6.0 or higher experience
  • SAP associate level certification or above
  • SAP AFS/FMS or S4 fashion experience
  • Global SAP experience with international regions
