The Sales Operations Samples Coordinator manages all sample order entry and administrative samples responsibilities.  The North American samples team acts as the liaison between our corporate GTM counterparts and our local marketing teams to ensure our local sales force is properly equipped with the proper samples and equipment.  Our team supports collectively over 450 sales consultants within the Traditional Sales Team and our various showrooms across the country. 



  • Responsible for all new release order entry 2-3 times a year for eyewear samples for both sales reps and showrooms
  • Creates all recall numbers supported by our product team with provided assortment
  • Provides corporate with sample bag requirements by brand prior to each release
  • Reinforces rep recalls and ensures recalls are properly processed in the system to maintain a true view of the rep’s sample bag
  • Supports all communication with rep force if for missing/replacement/sample overages after releases or transfers
  • Coordinates with the returns dept (NAASC) to ensure proper storage location maintenance systematically for financial accuracy
  • Handles all replacements for lost of stolen samples
  • Provides new release allocation/coordinates shipment timing with local marketing team/provides tracking information for release shipments
  • Supports commercial realignment strategies and sample modification execution
  • Collaborates with territory management team for strategy and brand changes commercially
  • Ensures reps are coded properly in system to reflect physical/digital/showroom/account manager for corporate tracking purposes
  • Works directly with sales operations administrator for new hire and exiting sample support needs
    • Inventory Planning to provide current status of sku’s (new, limited editions, obsolete). Performs transfers of inventory and daily/weekly allocations to maximize fill rates of orders. BI to generate weekly/daily/monthly/recurring reports.



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
  • 1+ years related work experience
  • Strong PC skills; proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint, Internet
    • Must be proficient in excel- intermediate to advanced level
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task with limited supervision as well as works well in a team setting
  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well with all levels of internal leadership and staff

  • Advanced SAP Skills
  • Past experience assortment management and transportation knowledge
  • Microsoft Access experience
