The Manager- Ecommerce (Oakley Military) creates the overall online branding strategy for eCommerce initiatives in partnership with local and international stakeholders to maximize their opportunities. The key focus will be to Drive North America Oakley Military OSI e-commerce sales and margin through merchandising and content initiatives to set the military online strategy



  • Works as crucial link between brand and the e-commerce team to ensure a seamless, coherent and unique experience to our customers
  • Manage all web content ensuring best practices in content strategy, SEO optimization and mobile experience
  • Find and contributes to fixing possible bugs appearing on the existing product catalogue.
  • Engage with team to evaluate top/bottom selling styles and refine go-forward plan for site and marketing content
  • Collaborate with North America international teams to manage visual merchandising strategy for to drive conversion and sales
  • Ensure brand-right tone is utilized and partners with key stakeholders to tie messaging to web product assortment and selling needs
  • Contribute towards the Annual Operating Plans by providing over-arching strategy, budget and sales forecast for all online marketing tactics
  • Monitoring annual online marketing budget adhering to efficiency guidelines for performance-based tactics, maximizing key opportunities for brand-building activities
  • Works with online marketing consultants to maximize site traffic and sales demand across all websites, while meeting specified ROI targets
  • Work closely with cross-functional peers and Brand teams to ensure all communication is integrated to drive Direct Load traffic
  • Build initiatives to drive qualified traffic through various acquisition tactics (SEM, SEO, Email, Affiliate Networks, Social Media, Display Remarketing)
  • Work closely with Web Analytics team to develop, measure and optimize the key performance indicators specific to each individual marketing tactic
  • Research and analyzes business trends, customer data and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and proactively alert the management team when programs deviate from projections
  • Lead new and creative growth strategies through digital campaigns, projects in the online e-commerce military space to increase the customer base and the overall business
  • Oversee CRM & calendar strategy, implementation and perimeter given the specific target customer



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Communications or related study
  • 5+ years’ experience in the military space and with knowledge of the US military and its consumer and contact channels
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
  • Strong PC skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint



  • Up to date on Military industry with ability to speak knowledgeably and confidently about the eyewear industry
  • Previous experience working for an interactive agency, design studio or advertising agency
  • Strong proponent of web standards and online accessibility principles
  • Thorough experience in monitoring performance/effectiveness of online marketing tactics such as SEM, SEO, Affiliate Networks, Email Marketing, Social Media, and Display Remarketing
  • Experience with web analytics tools such as Coremetrics, Omniture, and/or Google Analytics
