The Manager of Inventory Innovation is our secret weapon for time to market. They are responsible for maintaining codes and physical samples of existing colors and technology while facilitating platform and concept development validation for our “Supermarket” work streams. Driving innovation in this space allows us to predevelop treatments as platforms to reduce risk in the value stream while increasing speed to market. In addition, the Manager of Inventory Innovation also acts like a retail store manager servicing the needs of internal customers.



  • Monitors accuracy and aging reports for requested samples to make recommendations to internal and external suppliers to improve accuracy and lead time.
  • Owns inventory accounting on all treatments and ensures correct reporting and completeness.
  • Runs and publishes Inventory reports for all Product, APQP, and Technical Teams
  • Develops and executes a roadmap of identified areas where there are challenges to Inventory Accuracy and process gaps
  • Ensures all adjustments for new additions and discontinuations are completed so inventory is accurate
  • Investigates and resolves, as needed, issues regarding availability of codes, samples or data
  • Facilitate daily meetings (agenda, note taking, logging and following up on action items)
  • Continuously improve the “retail space” to promote visual management and collaboration
  • Lead the global Supermarket initiative to expand Supermarket concept to all geographies
  • Manages ad hoc projects, Kaizens, and Continuous Improvement activities
  • Displays an excellent customer service mentality when working with other departments and internal customers



  • Bachelor's Degree – Business, Engineering, IT, or related field
  • 5+ years experience
  • Strong interpersonal, team and communication skills
  • Demonstrates critical thinking/analytical skills including work quality/attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work to meet department/company targets
  • IT skills (with focus on Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, Business Intelligence (i.e. BO))
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Initiative and openness to learn new skills and/or take on additional responsibilities



  • Degree - Master of Information Systems, Computer Science
  • Experience with SQL, MS Access, Python
  • Lean Six Sigma Yellow, Green, or Black Belt
  • Product development experience
  • Retail experience
  • Experience with barcode scanning technology applications
  • Demonstrated results in Project Management
