 The Senior Communications Specialist is an innovative, creative thinker who translates strategies and ideas into effective communications.  Leads and/or partners with other teams/associates to develop and design strategic communications that engage and inspire associates across the business, while also managing the brand's communication channels. Demonstrates passion for internal and external branding and illustrates key strategies and principles while maintaining quality and attention to detail.




  • Responsible for the development and execution of ongoing run-the-business communications to the Pearle Vision brand team and field, corporate and franchise stores including weekly and bi-monthly newsletters, organizational announcements and real time alerts.
  • Builds and fosters collaborative relationships with cross-functional departments to stay informed of new initiatives and business processes, which may require communications support.
  • Consistently designs, edits and produces communications of high quality under stringent deadlines.
  • Ensures field/store perspective is captured and incorporated in communications and process improvement; identifies opportunities to streamline communications to increase efficiency and effectiveness and reduce unnecessary store communications.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities to improve communications and keeps abreast of changing technology capabilities within Luxottica.
  • Supports associate engagement through management of brand channels, content development, and culture program support, demonstrates thought leadership and innovation to increase engagement across the brand.
  • Establishes processes and tools to efficiently gather, document, and analyze effectiveness of engagement strategies.
  • Demonstrates a clear understanding of brand channels strategies when counseling brand partners, ensures consistent strategy and management of internal communication channels.
  • Defines best practices and criteria for implementation of communication vehicles.
  • Leads project teams on various projects, managing project from conceptualization through completion including timeline, budget, format/vehicles, reporting and distribution.
  • Oversees production and printing processes to ensure highest quality.
  • Support on the execution of a communication plan for annual franchise summit meeting including content creation, design elements and presentations.


4 year college degree or equivalent experience

3+ years communication experience

Project and process management/ownership experience

Strong written communication skills

Strong organization, planning skills and keen attention to detail

Strong leadership and conflict management skills with ability to reach win-win solutions

Ability to work in and lead through ambiguity

Ability to effectively coordinate work of a team/self under tight deadlines and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

Ability to keep sensitive business/personnel information confidential

Strong creative skills



 1+ years design work

Mac expertise – Adobe Creative Suite

Knowledge of print processes and pre-production requirements
