Develop and manage initiatives to improve support for our doctors within Luxottica Retail North America (RONA) and Luxottica EyeCare amongst our affiliated optometrist by partnering with field leaders and members of the home office to support operational performance that enhances the patient experience and delivers operating income growth for our doctors and Luxottica. The work will be focused on two key areas of focus: 1) Practice Management and 2) Clinical Quality Standard and Optometric Innovation/Vendor Management. 

In order to accomplish this, the individual will partner with various constituents to ensure in the EyeCare and brand management team to identify opportunities for program development and implementation including the OD Engagement, Learning and Development, Brand teams (particularly field directors and the product teams).



Practice Manageent

  • Partner with the OD Engagement team to ensure consistency between field execution, programming and training courses to deliver a consistent patient experience for each brand


Clinical Quality Standards

  • Develop and maintain clinical standards for employed and affiliated optometrists
  • Create and implement chart audit process for employed optometrists or determine other programs to ensure quality standard
  • Partner with brand eyecare directors to ensure affiliated optometrists are compliant with clinical standards where appropriate
  • Partner with brand products team on clinicial input to new product innovation and educations – particularly around equipment, contact lenses and prescription lenses


Optometric Innovation and Vendor Partnerships

  • Maintain vendor relationships on behalf of Luxottica EyeCare to evaluate new equipment and technology
  • Partner with the Innovation and Commercialization team on deployment of new instruments and technology in affiliated and employed optometric offices
  • Design and initiate ‘pilots’ to test new insturments and technology within the brands
  • Seek and gain opportunities to provide value to affiliated and employed optometrists
  • Partner with vendors to offer negotiated discount pricing for affiliated optometrists
  • Maintain catalog of all negotiated offerings for affiliated optometrist



  • Doctor of Optometry
  • 5 years’ experience with proficiency in the following areas
    • Optometric practice management
    • Clinical Patient Care
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, listening, persuasive)
  • Business Case Development
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent prioritization skills with a clear focus on results
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead a team and create a collaborative atmosphere
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Position will work out of the corporate office in Mason, OH three to four days a week and travel with field partners on an as needed basis



  • Experience in a large corporate enviornment
  • Experience in retail optical
